About
MuSat XL is Muon Space’s most capable satellite platform, a 500 kg-class spacecraft built on the heritage of Muon’s 200 kg MuSat/Condor architecture. It delivers a dramatically expanded capability tier to the flight-proven Halo(TM) stack – more power, agility and integration flexibility – while preserving the speed, scalability and cost-effectiveness needed for constellation deployment. It is optimized for Earth observation and telecommunications missions requiring multi-payload operations, extreme data throughput, high-performance intersatellite networking and precise, agile attitude control and pointing.
Muon’s PayloadCore architecture enables rapid hardware/software integration of payloads and deployment of cloud-like workflows to onboard network, storage and compute. The first customer for the XL platform is Hubble Network, which is deploying a next-generation Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) payload with a phased-array antenna on MuSat XL satellites to build a global satellite-powered Bluetooth network.
