About
KissCAM V1.0 is MVP Aerospace’s entry-level space camera, purpose-built for small 1U CubeSat missions where downlink bandwidth is severely constrained. The camera uses a stock wide-angle lens and transmits images over a low-baud UART interface (RS422) at 115200 baud, making integration with standard OBC hardware straightforward. A complete image can be received in a single UHF ground station pass — even with lost packets — making it practical for missions with limited ground contact windows. The 10g, 38×20×17 mm form factor fits in the tightest satellite designs, and the 3.3–5V supply range provides broad compatibility with standard CubeSat power systems. Flight heritage is confirmed.
