About
The OBC is an onboard computing platform consisting of four independent ARM Cortex-M7 modules, each with separate power supply, interfacing and storage. The quad architecture makes the OBC a suitable choice for hot/cold redundancy solutions often desired for mission-critical equipment such as T&C, GNC, or management of valuable payloads. The FreeRTOS real-time operating system drives applications running on each ARM Cortex-M7 module.
The module is delivered with an SDK, allowing customers to extend applications as needed per mission requirements. It comes pre-programmed with firmware capable of collecting historical telemetry, transmitting scheduled commands, and executing Lua scripts.
