OST Suite

The OST Suite is a web-based software solution designed to provide 24/7 support for critical space mission operations. It simplifies communication and coordination among various teams and user groups, including operators, planners, engineers, and managers, across different locations. The suite is adaptable to individual client needs and is 100% operations-proven. It is built to assist with operational preparation, real-time operations, and post-mission evaluation. Key functionalities include monitoring, activity scheduling, incident detection, resource planning, problem resolution, reporting, approvals, and coordination.

The suite features an Event Scheduler for daily event programming, processing event requests, and controlling/assigning resources (computers/personnel), as well as disseminating event information. It also includes robust Problem Reporting capabilities for submitting, assigning, investigating, evaluating, and tracking corrective actions for issues. Change Requests are managed through processing, impact investigation, resource allocation, and management approval/disapproval. Furthermore, the suite provides Activity Notification for inter-team communication, action item assignment, input collection, and continuous status monitoring.

The OST family of products consists of platform-independent, modular, and scalable tools, controlled by LDAP, suitable for all mission phases. These tools include a Problem Tracking System, Flight Notes Tool, Console Log, Reporting and Recognition Tools, and systems for scheduling, planning, document management, and configuration. The suite has a strong flight heritage, having supported missions such as Columbus and ATV at the German Space Operations Center (GSOC) of DLR.
