About
The piPATCH-L1L2 is a high-quality, high-gain antenna with low noise, RF filters, and a uniform hemispherical radiation pattern, intended for X/Y +/- CubeSat walls. It supports GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou constellation receiver equipment (GPS-L1 + GPS-L2, GALILEO-E1, GLONASS-G1, BeiDou-B1). The antenna works on two different frequency bands (L1+L2 | E1 | G1 | B1) to provide better precision, as even a small difference in frequency (1575 and 1227 MHz respectively) significantly impacts receiving precision, especially in the ionosphere. Its module size of 98×82.6 mm and very low profile make it ideal for standard CubeSat structure envelopes with up to 10 mm side wall gaps. It connects via an RF Coaxial cable with DC power from 2.7 to 5.5V, allowing it to receive signals from GNSS constellations with a multi-frequency Precise Navigation Receiver. The antenna features SAW filters and EMI shielding, and is powered via RF Coax.
