About
The piPATCH-MAX/FM is a Space-Friendly™ Microsatellite GNSS Antenna, specifically designed for microsatellites requiring SatNav equipment onboard. This high-quality antenna features low noise, RF filters, high gain, and an appropriate radiation pattern to capture all available signals from the GNSS constellation, including GPS-L1, GLONASS-G1, GALILEO-E1, and BEIDOU-B1. It is engineered to operate effectively under direct sunny and plasma environments, and includes embedded ESD protection. The module incorporates a mounting bracket made of AL-6061-T6 Aluminum, which acts as a groundplane to naturally equalize the antenna radiation pattern. A PEEK cover provides additional AtOx protection, extending standard CubeSat performance. Simply connect the RF Coaxial cable with DC power from 2.7 to 5.5V to begin receiving signals from the GNSS constellation.
