About
The Release Device (electromechanical, shock-free) Type 1 holds the mechanical device hold-down lock in the cocked position. It is a component of the hold-down system for spacecraft mechanical devices. The device provides 6 kg rod load resistance and is actuated by 3–8 A for 1 second, rated for at least 75 technological actuations. Dimensions are 41 × 41.5 × 41 mm, mass 0.08 kg. Operating temperature range is -100 to +100 °C. Released in 2015 with an 8-year service life and 4-month delivery time. Flight-qualified in 2019.
