The ASTROFEIN RW150 is a reaction wheel offering 1.0 Nms of angular momentum at nominal speed with integrated wheel drive electronics and latch-up protection. It provides model-based controller operation modes for speed and acceleration, high torque and speed stability, extensive housekeeping telemetry, and internal compensation of friction and time delays for low-noise operation. Weighing up to 1.3 kg in a 150 x 150 x 60 mm envelope, the RW150 is designed for a service life exceeding 7 years in LEO.
