The ASTROFEIN RW25 is a compact reaction wheel with integrated wheel drive electronics, delivering an angular momentum of 30 mNms in a 200 g package sized 50 x 50 x 25.5 mm. It supports SPI communication (preferred) with CAN as an alternative option, targeting CubeSats and small satellites that need a lightweight, low-power attitude control actuator. The wheel’s design allows lifetime extension up to 5 years by design, though a dedicated life test is recommended to prove long-duration performance beyond its standard 2-year LEO design life.
