The Satlab VTRX is a half-duplex VDES/VDE-SAT transceiver specifically designed for integration on nano- and microsatellites operating in 500-700 km orbits. It is compliant with the ITU-R M.2092-1 standard. The transceiver incorporates a multi-channel modem and a VDE-SAT protocol stack, enabling robust communication capabilities. For precise timing and frequency control, the VTRX requires an external GNSS-receiver with NMEA 0183 and PPS output. The product has a demonstrated reliable flight heritage since 2023 and boasts a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 9, indicating it is fully qualified and operational in its intended space environment. Custom hardware and software requests can often be accommodated.
