About

Murgas is a UHF/VHF transceiver module specifically developed for CubeSats and small satellites. It provides robust communication capabilities, supporting both amateur radio bands (VHF 144-146 MHz, UHF 430-440 MHz) and a commercial band (UHF 400-402 MHz). The module features GFSK/GMSK modulation, HDLC and AX.25 data formats, and NRZI framing with G3RUH scrambling. It offers a TX data rate from 0.1 to 38.4 kbps. The module is designed for a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and has a compact form factor, making it suitable for space-constrained applications. It includes an aluminium cover and comes with a USS Module for testing and development, a debug cable, an Interface Control Document, and 1 hour of engineering support. The product is ITAR-free, simplifying export and integration for international projects. Its interfaces include I2C, RS485, CAN, and UART (Plain text CLI), with CSP v1 support. The power consumption is 0.14 W during receiving and 3.3 W during transmitting.
