About
This is a Class I antenna system for reliable lower Ku-band operation, built for harsh commercial and outdoor environments. The reflector uses glass-fiber-reinforced polyester (SMC) for structural strength and the dimensional/surface accuracy critical to RF performance. Feed support legs are galvanized 19mm O.D. tubing for lightweight, corrosion-resistant construction. Pointing precision is achieved via a heavy-gauge steel azimuth/elevation mount with fine adjustment, and mounting hardware is plated to withstand 72-hour salt spray testing (ASTM B-117), suiting coastal and maritime deployment. It is RoHS (2002/95/EC) compliant and meets or exceeds regulatory antenna-pattern requirements, targeting demanding commercial VSAT terminal installations needing a durable, field-serviceable antenna platform.
