The SBTR003UL is a 3W lower Ku-band transceiver designed as a complete VSAT outdoor unit solution housed in a single box, suited for the most demanding commercial satellite communications needs. It integrates an RF-Feed/OMT (orthomode transducer) section supporting linear orthogonal polarization, with cross-polarization isolation greater than 30dB. The unit provides high Tx/Rx isolation, exceeding 80dB in the receive band and greater than 30dB in the transmit band, ensuring minimal interference between transmit and receive signal paths. The feed is adapted for an antenna F/D ratio of 0.65, making it compatible with standard VSAT reflector geometries used in commercial Ku-band satellite ground terminals.
