About
The Single-actuation Drive Type 1 is an electromechanical rotary drive for deployment of large mechanical system elements including solar array panels, booms, and antennas. It provides 25 N·m torque rating at a nominal slew rate of 2–4 °/s, with a safety clutch activation threshold of 50–75 N·m and anti-torque in de-energized state of up to 2 N·m. Dimensions are 70 × 94 × 92 mm, mass 0.75 kg. Released in 2009, delivery 6 months, rated for 100 cycles / 48 hours. Flight-qualified on Amos-5, Telkom-3, KazSat-3, Express-AT1, Express-AT2, Express-AM8.
