The Single-actuation Drive Type 2 is an electromechanical rotary drive for deployment of large spacecraft mechanical systems including solar panels, booms, and antennas. It provides 40 N·m torque rating at a nominal slew rate of 1–3 °/s, with safety clutch activation at 45–80 N·m. Dimensions are 75 × 90 × 70 mm, mass 0.6 kg. Released in 2006, delivery 6 months, rated for 100 cycles / 49 hours. Flight-qualified on Express-AM, Spektr-R, Elektro-L.
