About
The Single-actuation Drive Type 3 is an electromechanical rotary drive for deployment of spacecraft solar panels, booms, and antennas. It provides 25 N·m torque rating at a nominal slew rate of 1.2–2.8 °/s, with safety clutch activation at 50–75 N·m and anti-torque in de-energized state of up to 3 N·m. Dimensions are 70 × 94 × 92 mm, mass 0.76 kg. Released in 2012, delivery 6 months, rated for 100 cycles / 50 hours. Flight-qualified on Express-AM5, Express-AM6, Yamal-401.
