The Single-actuation Drive Type 4 is a high-torque electromechanical rotary drive for deployment of spacecraft solar panels, booms, and antennas. It provides 60 N·m torque rating at a nominal slew rate of 0.3–0.7 °/s (slow, precise deployment), with safety clutch activation at 100–140 N·m. Dimensions are 60 × 60 × 145 mm (tall cylindrical form), mass 0.7 kg. Released in 2005, delivery 6 months, rated for 100 cycles / 51 hours. Flight-qualified on Loutch-5A, Loutch-5B, Loutch-5V.
