About

The Nano Sun Sensor on a Chip (nanoSSOC-D60) is a two-axis sun sensor designed for high-accurate sun-tracking, pointing, and attitude determination. The device measures the incident angle of the sun ray in two orthogonal axes, providing high sensitivity based on the geometrical dimensions of the design. NanoSSOC-D60 includes an onboard microcontroller that directly provides the sun light incident angles and other information useful for attitude determination, output via UART, I2C, or SPI protocol. It features a tiny size, low weight, and low power consumption, making it a suitable ADCS sensing solution for nanosatellite platforms.
