AMOS SchoolSat brings satellite engineering into the classroom. It is a hands-on nanosatellite kit designed for labs and STEM programs, letting students build and operate a functional 1U CubeSat-format satellite model. The kit is built on an Arduino-compatible platform and includes real subsystem boards mirroring an actual nanosatellite: a PSU (power supply) board, OBC (on-board computer) board, SOLAR Input board, and an RF & Sensor board, plus a companion Satellite Manager App for operation and data processing. Through building and operating SchoolSat, students learn 3D printing, assembly, programming, operating, and data processing skills. The order includes all boards and frame, a USB radio receiver, a full set of cables, default firmware, an SD card, a Remove-Before-Flight (RBF) plug, a manual, and shipping & packaging. The satellite measures 1U CubeSat form factor (10 x 10 x 13.5 cm). The main board uses an Arduino Nano with 32 GB of storage. The power board uses 2x Li-ion 3200 mAh batteries and supplies 3.3 V and 5 V rails. The sensor board also runs on 3.3 V and 5 V and integrates GPS, a 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis magnetometer, plus temperature, pressure, and humidity sensors. Communication is handled via LoRa. Lead time for the full kit is 6 weeks, and the product is marked ITAR free.
