About

IANUS and PERSEUS are cold gas propulsion systems developed by T4i, utilizing R134a propellant. They are designed for CubeSats and offer 6 Degrees of Freedom (DoF), making them ideal for precise in-orbit maneuvers. Both systems are characterized by their high leak tightness and ability to perform extremely fine maneuvering. PERSEUS has a TRL of 9 and was used in the ASI IPERDRONE.0 mission for inspection and proximity operations on a 6U XL CubeSat. IANUS has a TRL of 8 and is integrated into the Milani 6U XL CubeSat for ESA’s Hera mission, enabling close-proximity operations around the Didymos and Dimorphos asteroid system. Key applications include collision avoidance, reaction wheel desaturation, attitude control, station keeping, formation flying, and general proximity operations.
