About
The CCD230-84 is a large area CCD sensor featuring 4096 x 4112 active pixels with a 15µm square pixel size. It utilizes Teledyne e2v’s back-thinning process to ensure high quantum efficiency over a wide range of wavelengths. The image area is divided into four separately connected sections, supporting full-frame, frame transfer, split full-frame, or split frame transfer read-out modes, with read-out possible through 1, 2, or 4 output circuits. It includes a gate-controlled drain for fast dumping of unwanted data. The sensor incorporates a two-stage output amplifier designed for minimum noise at pixel rates up to 5 MHz. It supports advanced inverted mode operation and offers an uncoated option for soft X-Ray applications. The sensor is housed in an Aluminium Oxide PGA package measuring 63.80 x 79.60 mm with 80-pin PGA connectors.
