About
The Two-degree-of-freedom Antenna Pointing Device Type 1 is a two-axis electromechanical drive for pointing spacecraft antennas to both mobile and immobile users. It provides wide ±85° rotation range per axis at slew rates up to 4 °/min, with 300 arcsec pointing accuracy and 10 N·m minimum developed torque. Dimensions are no more than 370 × 370 × 250 mm, mass 7 kg. Released in 2007 with a 10-year active service life and 6-month delivery time. Adaptable to customer requirements. Not yet flight qualified.
