Calian (SatService)

<p>SatService GmbH was founded in Germany in 1996 as a privately-owned satellite ground-station integrator. Around 2002 it began developing its own hardware/software, launching the sat-nms product family for monitoring and control of ground stations. On April 1, 2019, founder Michael Ulbricht sold the company to Calian Group Ltd. (Ottawa, Canada), and it now operates as SatService, a Calian Company.</p><p>Under Calian, the business designs, builds, and integrates earth station antennas from 2m to 15m (including Q/V-band and Ka-band systems), teleport/gateway infrastructure, and ground-segment software/hardware for commercial, scientific, and defense customers.</p>
