About Nimesis Technology

Nimesis Technology is a French deep-tech company founded in 2008 and headquartered in Mecleuves, near Metz, specializing in the design and manufacture of smart actuators and mechanisms based on shape memory alloys (SMA) for the space, defense, and aeronautics industries. The company has developed unique expertise in nickel-titanium (NiTi) and copper-based (CuAlNi, CuAlBe) shape memory alloys, built in close partnership with the LEM3 research laboratory at the University of Lorraine. Nimesis's flagship product, TRIGGY, is a compact, low-shock, resettable locking and release device used for deploying solar panels, antennas, mechanisms, and scientific instruments on satellites and spacecraft. TRIGGY is available in a complete range of sizes suitable for all classes of spacecraft, offering a compelling alternative to pyrotechnic hold-down and release systems.
