About
TRIGGY is Nimesis Technology’s flagship space-qualified actuator for deployment, locking/unlocking, releasing, and dismantling of spacecraft mechanisms. It is based on shape memory alloy (SMA) technology, which delivers reliable, repeatable, shock-controlled actuation without the pyrotechnic release mechanisms traditionally used in space. TRIGGY is ECSS-qualified and has achieved TRL 9 with extensive flight heritage across small satellites, satellites, and rovers. Nimesis offers the complete range from M2 to M12, making TRIGGY suitable for payloads of all sizes — from CubeSats and SmallSats to larger missions. The actuator is compact, dust-resistant, and capable of sustaining high mechanical loads and preloads. Qualification is certified to ISO 9001.
