Description
Serenum's Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) product line provides integration support jigs, vibration test fixtures, transport boxes, and display cases for CubeSats, giving customers a safe vertical or horizontal position for the spacecraft while maintaining maximum accessibility to its components. Units are secured with locking screws for stability, suitable for handling during integration, ground testing, and system calibration, and are compatible with the latest CubeSat standards for 1U, 2U, and 3U (and up to 8U for vibration jigs). The Vertical Support Jig is best used for a CubeSat that is nearly fully assembled and undergoing final payload or subsystem integration, with minimal surrounding contact making it suitable for thermal-vacuum-cycling (TVC) campaigns and testing of deployable systems such as antennas or solar panels; it is built from Aluminium 2025 with PA/PEEK clamps and an anodized/Alodine 1200 surface finish. The Horizontal Support Jig secures the CubeSat during most assembly processes and is useful for electrical verification and functional testing, sharing the same materials. The CubeSat Vibration Jig (Test Pod) is designed for qualification vibration campaigns, offered in 1U, 2U, 3U, 6U, and 8U variants in Aluminium 7075, engineered for maximum rigidity at minimum mass, and internal volume is extended by 10 mm on each side to accommodate deployable systems, supporting resonance search, quasistatic, sine, random, and shock qualification testing. The CubeSat Transport Box, available in 1U, 2U, 3U, and 6U sizes and built from PMMA with PA clamps, provides a dust-tight, fully transparent enclosure for safe transport during development and pre-launch. The CubeSat Display Case, offered in 1U, 2U, and 3U sizes, is a transparent PMMA cylinder-shaped cabinet with an Aluminium 2025 baseplate (multiple anodizing color options, optional Alodine coating) for presenting or storing a CubeSat or instrumentation, and a CubeSat Mass Dummy is also available for handling and integration rehearsal without risking flight hardware.
