About

The 3TU Thruster Unit is a propulsion system specifically designed for spacecraft orientation and attitude control. Released in 1999, it boasts a guaranteed service life of 10.5 years. The unit operates using hydrazine propellant and is comprised of eight thermocatalytic low thrusters: four main thrusters and four redundant ones, ensuring reliability. Its thermal management system includes four heaters (two main and two redundant), a radiator, and a set of Multi-Layer Insulation (MLI). Unit temperature is continuously monitored by four integrated temperature sensors. The product is flight qualified and can be adapted to meet specific customer requirements. The estimated production and delivery time is 12 months, not including the time required for material procurement (4 months) and procured parts and components (6 months).
