About

The ARROW satellite bus is Airbus’ innovative, responsive, versatile, and affordable platform designed for high-performance space applications. Its design-for-manufacturing approach, derived from the OneWeb commercial satellite constellation, allows ARROW to be produced cost-effectively in an assembly line process, making it particularly attractive for both commercial and government customers, especially for the proliferated LEO constellations envisioned by the U.S. government.

ARROW is a commoditized space vehicle that can support a wide range of missions, including high data-rate low latency communications, collection and tracking of radio frequency sensing data, Earth observation with a high revisit, machine to machine communications, internet of things research, and in-orbit technology demonstration missions.

The ARROW450 is the larger, more modular member of the family, offering greater versatility and capability to support a wider range of missions than the ARROW150. Both are built and integrated at Airbus U.S. Space & Defense’s Merritt Island, Florida final assembly line.
