The EP Class AB Amplifier series provides linear RF power amplification for Emhiser’s telemetry and command transmitters, scaling from the compact EP-01DE Series (1.3 cubic inch package, 12 VDC, 150 mW / 500 mW / 1 W / 2 W selectable output) up through the EP-09DE Series (9 cubic inch package, 28 VDC, 2/5/10/20 Watt output) and the larger EP-11DE and EP-36DE Series in 11 and 36 cubic-inch packages. All models cover Emhiser’s standard telemetry frequency bands, including 1435-1540 MHz, 1710-1850 MHz, 2200-2300 MHz and 2300-2400 MHz. Class AB operation provides good linearity for telemetry and video modulation formats where signal fidelity matters, and the amplifiers are used both as standalone RF power boosters and as the output stage within Emhiser’s higher-power transmitter products.
