About
The EDR Digital Receiver series is the ground-station counterpart to Emhiser’s Digital Transmitters, recovering PCM digital telemetry data downlinked from airborne EDT-series or compatible transmitters. Catalog entries include EDR-09D1A-00 (TTL output, AC-coupled, single frequency in the 1435.0-1539.5 MHz band) and EDR-09D1A-01 (RS-422 output), plus RSS (received signal strength) output variants such as EDR-09D1A-20 and EDR-09D1A-21, with equivalent D2-band (1710-1850 MHz range) units like EDR-09D2A-00/-01/-20/-21. Digital Receivers are built in Emhiser’s 09 (9 cubic inch) rack/base-mount package for ground telemetry stations and mobile tracking vans, and are documented in a dedicated Digital Receiver catalog PDF. They are used across military test ranges and DoD/space-agency programs to close the link with Emhiser’s airborne digital transmitter products.
