These terminals connect to the Iridium LEO L-band network of 66 cross-linked satellites, ensuring pole-to-pole coverage with low latency and high-speed ‘always-on’ connectivity. The C700 terminal boasts best-in-class RF performance, delivering uplink speeds of 352 Kbps and downlink speeds of 704 Kbps, with excellent low-elevation-angle RF efficiency due to its unique 12-patch phased array antenna design. It supports three high-quality, low-latency phone lines simultaneously and is a robust solid-state antenna with no moving parts, requiring no scheduled maintenance. The C700 Winterized version is Iridium-certified for an operational temperature range of -50°C to +55°C. The C200M offers upload and download speeds up to 176 Kbps, providing affordable broadband connectivity for voice, internet, messaging, and critical remote applications. It can function as a standalone solution or a VSAT companion, with a C200M GMDSS System also available. These terminals are designed for a lower total cost of ownership, featuring easy installation, commissioning, and user-friendly AptusLX software. They offer an all-in-one solution with built-in features like an Analog Terminal Adapter (ATA), Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), a private automatic branch exchange (PABX) telephone switching system, a router, a firewall for cybersecurity, and built-in Wi-Fi. Enhanced cybersecurity features include HTTPS, TLS certificates, and data encryption. The advanced voice solution provides 3 HD quality voice lines, direct connection for up to 4 SIP Phones, up to 2 analog telephones, and a Soft PABX for up to 16 SIP Phones. The terminals are suitable for various vessel sizes and communication needs within the maritime industry. Flight heritage is demonstrated by the C700 terminal’s use by the Monkey Fist Adventures team for transatlantic rowing, enabling communication and video transfer.
