Iridium Certus Maritime Terminals (C200M / C700 / C700 Winterized)
Iridium Certus LEO L-band maritime terminals delivering pole-to-pole global coverage up to 704Kbps downlink and 3 HD voice lines.
About
Intellian’s Iridium Certus maritime terminal lineup delivers reliable broadband connectivity via the Iridium 66-satellite LEO constellation — the only truly pole-to-pole global satellite network. Three models address different vessel types and performance requirements.
The C200M delivers up to 176 Kbps in each direction and operates as a cost-effective standalone broadband terminal or as a VSAT companion for vessels that need affordable global coverage beyond the Ku/Ka footprint. The C700 features a 12-patch phased array antenna with no moving parts, providing 352 Kbps uplink and 704 Kbps downlink with 3 simultaneous HD voice lines and zero scheduled maintenance requirements — an important advantage for vessels operating far from service facilities.
The C700 Winterized is the first Iridium-certified maritime terminal rated for -50°C to +55°C operating temperatures, making it the standard choice for polar exploration vessels, icebreakers, Arctic research ships, and Antarctic supply vessels that experience extreme temperature environments beyond the operating range of conventional satellite hardware.
All models provide truly global coverage including both poles — a capability no GEO or regional MEO network can match — making Iridium Certus the de facto standard for maritime safety communications and voice calling anywhere on earth.
