OneWeb Parabolic Maritime Terminals (OW50M / OW70M)
Dual parabolic LEO maritime terminals for Eutelsat OneWeb with seamless handovers and -40°C cold-weather performance.
About
Intellian’s OneWeb Parabolic Series for maritime provides dual-parabolic user terminals designed for operation on Eutelsat’s OneWeb LEO satellite network. The OW50M and OW70M deliver high-bandwidth LEO satellite connectivity with seamless, undisruptive handovers during LEO satellite passes, maintaining continuous service without the throughput drops associated with less sophisticated LEO terminal designs.
Both models support low operating temperatures down to -40°C, making them suitable for Arctic shipping routes, polar research vessels, and high-latitude fishing fleets where conventional maritime terminals may fail. Single-cable power and data installation reduces topside hardware complexity and cable routing demands.
Advanced blockage mitigation combines the dual-parabolic configuration with intelligent software management to maintain connectivity as vessel heading and sea state change, keeping the best-positioned antenna pointed at the active satellite. Support for both Maximum Information Rate and Committed Information Rate service tiers gives operators flexibility to optimize cost and performance.
The parabolic form factor delivers higher gain than equivalent flat-panel antennas for the same aperture, making the OW50M and OW70M well-suited for vessel operators prioritizing throughput density over compact installation profiles.
