About
The Nanosatellite Onboard Computer collects information from sensors, processes measurements, stores obtained results, forms control actions, processes telecommands and forms telemetry packets for nanosatellite platforms. It is built around 2 independent microcontroller units (MCUs) with 3 processor cores (AVR, Cortex M0, Cortex M4F) running at clock frequencies of 8 and 200 MHz. The unit integrates 2 sets of 3D accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer sensors with 16-bit resolution, a magnetometer range of 4.8 mT, an accelerometer range of 2 g, and a gyroscope range of 250 deg/s. It provides an RTC with battery backup lasting 5 months, and 2 microSD cards (32 Gb) with shared access for data storage. Communication and control interfaces include I2C, UART, SGPIO and CAN. The board features 5 independent power monitors and includes a watchdog timer (WDT) and RTS. It supports either PC104 or an original bus configuration, and can be adapted to customer requirements. The product was released in 2016, has a guaranteed service life of 1 year, an estimated production/delivery time of 6 months, and is not flight-qualified.
