RW250 Reaction Wheel

The ASTROFEIN RW250 provides 4.0 Nms of angular momentum at nominal speed, targeting microsatellites requiring greater momentum storage than the RW150/RWT150 range. It features integrated wheel drive electronics with latch-up protection, model-based controller operation modes, high torque/speed stability, extensive housekeeping telemetry, and internal friction/delay compensation for low emitted vibration. The wheel weighs up to 2.7 kg with a cylindrical envelope of 81.6 mm height and 180 mm diameter, and is designed for over 7 years of LEO service life via RS485/RS422 interfaces.
