The ASTROFEIN RWT250 shares the 4.0 Nms angular momentum of the RW250 but delivers a substantially higher maximum commandable reaction torque of 0.3 Nm, aimed at microsatellite missions needing faster attitude maneuvers. It features integrated wheel drive electronics with latch-up protection, model-based control, extensive housekeeping telemetry, and low-vibration mechanical design. The wheel weighs up to 3.0 kg in a roughly 100mm-high, 200mm-diameter package, uses RS485/CAN data interfaces, and offers a design lifetime exceeding 7 years (up to 10 years depending on electronics grade).
