About

ZHP is a high-performance, power-efficient payload computer with a small form factor tailored for CubeSat and small-satellite missions. It features a Zynq 7015 Computer-on-Module with dual-core Cortex-A9 CPUs running up to 766 MHz, an FPGA for user-defined applications and interface expansion, and extensive I/O options for satellite payload data processing, attitude control, real-time video and image processing, scientific experiment data collection, and SDR applications. The board measures a compact 95.0 x 90.0 mm, optimized for CubeSat structures, and provides versatile high-speed interfaces including SpaceWire (up to 200 Mbps), 1 Gbps and 100 Mbps Ethernet, and PCIe Gen2 x4 for external storage support, alongside a PC/104 connector carrying 2x CAN, I2C, power, and PPS signals. Peripheral interfaces include USB 2.0 with OTG support, three RS-422/485 interfaces, SPI/UART/I2C shared with PC/104, and JTAG/serial console debug access, plus an extension port exposing 28 differential pairs (56 single-ended signals) and power pins connected directly to the FPGA. ZHP runs a Linux-based operating system with Yocto support for custom software development, is compatible with the CubeSat Space Protocol (CSP), and supports Python, Java, GStreamer, and other packages via third-party Yocto layers. With 1 GB of RAM, 2×16 GB of integrated storage, and up to 300 GB of optional external storage, ZHP is a flight-proven design backed by technical support for custom development and design review.
