The Spacemag-Lite® is a three-axis fluxgate magnetometer specifically engineered for spaceflight applications. It is designed to meet the requirements of various low Earth orbit (LEO) missions, encompassing both commercial and scientific endeavors, with a particular focus on cost-effectiveness. The standard sensor configuration is optimized for seamless integration into CubeSat platforms. However, Bartington Instruments also offers other configurations to accommodate diverse mission requirements. Key features of the Spacemag-Lite® include a compact probe, measuring just 20mm wide, and robust performance under thermal vacuum conditions, tested at <10^-5 mbar across a temperature range of -30°C to +60°C. It also boasts EMC Approvals BS EN61326 and operates effectively within a temperature range of -40°C to +65°C, with an extended capability up to +85°C. Its primary applications include CubeSat integration and other general spaceflight applications, making it a versatile instrument for various orbital missions.
