About
The router is used to organize the SpaceWire network in the system for packet routing and communication between terminal devices. One router is an assembly of 2 identical semi-sets that can work in both cold and hot standby. One semi-set includes: a power supply system with a primary DC/DC isolated converter and secondary PDM converters; a 16-port SpaceWire routing switch with a built-in processor based on MIPS32 architecture, exchange rates up to 200 Mbit/s per channel, support for broadcast packets, adaptive multicast routing, RMAP protocol over SpaceWire, and a UART debug port; a 1 Mbit EEPROM storing the switch control software image which initializes the processor, self-tests, and configures router registers; and MRAM non-volatile memory with 8 MB usable capacity for organizing “cloud” storage in the SpaceWire network. It is SPUTNIX’s own development, ECSS-compatible, low cost, light weight, low energy consumption, uses Russian electronic components, and uses unified electrical/information/mechanical interfaces.
