About

SWATH (Spiral Wrap Antenna Technology) is a patent-pending deployable solid surface parabolic dish antenna. Unlike mesh systems, its solid surface technology allows it to operate at much higher frequencies, exceeding 100 GHz. The design ensures that the antenna is stress-free in its deployed configuration, eliminating the high tension loads typically required by mesh systems. SWATH is engineered for compact stowage, collapsing into a short, small-diameter cylinder. This cylinder features a central cavity specifically designed to house the feed system support structure and associated electronics. The antenna can be packaged into a volume as small as 1x1x1.5U for diameters less than 1 meter, and it boasts a low area weight of less than 300 gsm.
