Spiral Wrapped Antenna Technology (SWATH) is Opterus’s deployable RF antenna structure that uses a spiral-wound high-strain composite design to stow compactly for launch and deploy reliably on orbit. SWATH is part of Opterus’s family of RF systems, which also includes tension membrane antennas, continuous panel antennas and fully custom antenna designs, all built on the company’s proprietary composite and origami-inspired deployable structures technology.
