About
The VORAGO VA10805 is the current-generation, actively sold ARM Cortex-M0 radiation-hardened microcontroller in VORAGO’s M0 family. Built with HARDSIL technology, the VA10805 delivers >300 krad(Si) Total Ionizing Dose immunity and >110 MeV·cm²/mg SEL immunity, making it highly resilient to the radiation environments encountered by LEO CubeSats, SmallSat constellations, and rideshare payloads.
Operating at up to 50 MHz, the VA10805 is purpose-designed for simpler and lower-power tasks: power sequencing, relay control, valve actuation, and data logging functions where a full M4 would be over-specified. It includes 256 KB of program SRAM and 32 KB of data SRAM, along with 1 Kb of user-programmable OTP memory, providing flexible configuration storage without an external non-volatile device.
Peripheral integration includes 56 configurable GPIO pins, two UART and two I2C interfaces, three SPI interfaces, and 24 configurable 32-bit timers with full timer function support. The VA10805 ships in a plastic 128-pin PQFP package and supersedes the legacy VA10820 (support-only) and VA10800 (discontinued).
