The YuzhSat is a universal spacecraft bus platform developed by Yuzhnoye SDO for creating microsatellites up to 50 kg total mass for scientific, technological, and Earth observation purposes. The platform offers flexible configuration options including increased data transmission rates, improved orientation accuracy, and enhanced payload mass and power capabilities to accommodate diverse customer mission requirements. The bus accommodates up to 20 kg of payload with up to 80 W average power allocation, and supports orbital altitudes from 450 to 1,000 km with inclinations from 0 to 180 degrees. A 50 Mbit/s X-band data link enables high-volume science data downlink. Orientation accuracy of 0.2 degrees and stabilization accuracy of 0.01 degrees/s are sufficient for demanding imaging and pointing-critical scientific payloads.
