About

PSR 100V MKII is a fully qualified fault tolerant off-the-shelf power supply regulator (PSR) unit developed by Airbus Defence and Space for telecom satellites under an ESA initiative. It is part of Airbus’s line of power conditioning and distribution units optimised for space applications, ensuring reliable power conversion, regulation, and distribution to support efficient spacecraft and payload operation. These units offer high power density and superior efficiency, handling power levels up to several kilowatts across a range of input voltages, and are built to withstand the extreme conditions of space while meeting the highest standards of durability and performance. The PSR 100V MKII specifically has a power handling capacity of up to 23kW at 100V. It is flown on board Alphabus, E3000, E3000-NEO and Galileo, and has been selected by major operators as well as other spacecraft manufacturers. The unit takes legacy heritage from the PSR 50V, which has more than 80 units in flight on several platforms worldwide.
