About
Mini4EO is Indra Space’s (formerly Deimos Space) multi-tasking Earth-observation satellite platform, designed to perform simultaneous image capture and data downlink operations to maximise mission return. The bus offers a robust, modular construction that supports rapid in-orbit reprogramming and is compatible with multiple launch services, making it suitable for constellations as well as single-satellite missions. Mini4EO integrates agile pointing via control moment gyros (CMGs), giving it fast slew rates for tasking-intensive Earth observation, maritime surveillance and emergency-response missions. The platform is built and integrated at Indra Space’s ISO-7 clean-room satellite integration centre in Spain, drawing on more than two decades of small-satellite heritage from the original Deimos Space engineering team (Deimos-1, launched 2009, and subsequent missions). Mini4EO is offered as a complete, customisable mission solution including platform, ground segment integration and mission operations support.
