The Gonets-D satellite is a communication and broadcasting spacecraft developed by ISS Reshetnev. It features a gravity-magnetic attitude determination and control system (ADCS) and provides 100 W of power from its electrical power system (EPS). With a mass of 225 kg, the satellite is designed for a lifetime of 1.5 years in a low circular orbit at a height of 1500 km. The Gonets-D was launched using a Tsiklon-3 carrier rocket from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome, with its first launch occurring on July 13, 1992.
