About

The Low Temperature Heat Pipes are axial omega-groove heat pipes with ammonia heat carrier designed for spacecraft thermal regime systems. They operate from -30 to +60 °C with ≤5 °C temperature difference between condensation and evaporation zones, transferring up to 500 W. Released in 1973 with 23-year service life and 3-month delivery. Adaptable. Flight heritage: Meteor N, Inter-Cosmos, Electro N 1, CORONAS-PHOTON.
