About
The MOD1250 is a DVB-S2X high-performance Software Defined Radio (SDR) modulator specifically engineered for High Throughput Satellites (HTS) VSAT networks. Its primary purpose is to facilitate connectivity via Very High Throughput Satellites. Built upon a “Software Defined Radio” architecture, the MOD1250 serves as SpaceBridge’s DVBS2X Wideband modulator, supporting data transmissions from a central location to a group of remote terminals over HTS. Key features include Pay-As-You-Grow (PAYG) licensing, Time Slicing support, and Carrier ID (CID) support. It offers a wide symbol rate range from 1.5 Msps to 500 Msps and supports modulations up to 256APSK. The modulator also provides Very Low SNR (VLSNR) MODCODS and Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) Support. The MOD1250 is a powerful unit designed for efficient use of the satellite segment by fully implementing DVB-S2X standard modcods and utilizing a roll-off factor as small as 5%.
