About
This monopropellant tank with a stiff-plastic separation diaphragm is designed for the Phobos Sample Return Mission (international program) return spacecraft propulsion system, providing UDMH/NTO propellant storage and feed to liquid propellant thrusters. It holds 30.8 dm³ at up to 1.67 MPa, with a residual propellant expulsion of not more than 0.65 dm³. It holds flight qualification status (Letter ‘O’, flight use) and a 15-year guaranteed service life, released in 2011.
