Multimode Transmitters (ESTI Series)

The ESTI Multimode Transmitter series lets a single hardware platform support several telemetry modulation and interface modes, reducing the number of unique part numbers a program must qualify and stock. Representative catalog entries include the ESTI-05EB-SR, built in Emhiser’s 05 (5 cubic inch) package, channelized across the 2200-2400 MHz band with selectable 5 W / 10 W output power, AC coupling and TTL/RS-422 digital interface support, and higher-power 09 (9 cubic inch) variants such as ESTI-09E2-SR and ESTI-09G1-SR. Multimode transmitters are aimed at range and flight-test programs that need flexibility to reconfigure a transmitter’s frequency, power, or data interface between missions without swapping hardware. As with the rest of Emhiser’s airborne transmitter lines, the ESTI series is built for the vibration, shock and thermal environment of missile, munitions, UAV and aircraft telemetry applications, and is offered in Emhiser’s standard modular packages so it can be substituted into existing airborne wiring and mounting provisions designed around other Emhiser transmitter families.
