About
Northrop Grumman’s propulsion tanks product line spans six decades of on-orbit heritage, encompassing Propellant Management Device (PMD) tanks, diaphragm tanks, pressurant tanks, and motor cases. Over 7,000 tanks have been produced and flown across major space exploration missions and launch vehicles — including Cassini, Mariner, Pioneer, Voyager, the Space Shuttle, and the Delta III/IV and Atlas launch vehicle families — with zero on-orbit failures reported to date.
