About
PolaTape™, an aluminized reflective tape, is optimized for use in the construction and installation of cryogenic insulation systems. This insulation fastening system can be used for patching, installation, and construction on research instruments, cryogenic storage, and low temperature fluid transfer systems. It is also used in conjunction with PolaWrap™, PolaPair™, PolaLam™ and PolaLoft™ products. This polyester-based reflective tape features a thin and flexible polyester film that allows it to conform to tight contours, while its pressure-sensitive adhesive provides a reliable bond. PolaTape™ offers second surface optical properties similar to other Pola Product lines, making it ideal for the installation of those products. Additionally, PolaTape™ provides a low infrared emittance. This space tape is available in a standard roll length of 216 linear feet and widths of 1-inch and 2-inch, with additional widths available by special order. The minimum order quantity is 1 roll.
